Greetings, friends!
Those of you who have subscribed to my website ReyCD PHOTOS and have been interacting with my posts, will see other new things aside from the posts I have made.

May and June caught me with graduation, final exams and grading. I also suffered allergies, which kept me from going to Yard Goats games. However, I also had the opportunity to attend both baseball and softball games of my school, both of which won the Class S State Championship in Connecticut.

Three are some surprises and emotional moments to live these two coming months, and you will hear about them below. • Above, you see the announcement of a new Summer Special Portrait Package. The price of the portrait packages has dropped to $100 for the summer, but that also includes a decrease in time, down to 45 minutes. The idea is to do several quick shoots catering to different clients in a short period of time. The banner shows all the perks you will get if you book a session, so I am asking my faithful readers to spread the word about it by either sharing the newsletter or asking me for the banner so I can share it with you. Being relatively new in Connecticut in this line of business, I need some true word of mouth to get booked and make things happen.

• The CIAC Class S Connecticut State Championship game in Middletown, CT showed the St. Paul Falcons win it all in a spectacular walk-off fashion. During the moment of the celebration, two of our students, both of whom I am lucky to teach, had a gesture that prompted me to contact the parents and share the pictures with them.

• Although I did miss two Hartford Yard Goats series due to allergies and final exams, I was able to go back and attend the Negro League Celebration, honoring the legacy of pitcher Johnny “Schoolboy” Taylor.

• As I stated before, I will be photographing the three games Banana Ball plans to play in July at Dunkin’ Park. The games will feature the Party Animals vs. the Indianapolis Clowns (a name rescued from the legendary Negro League team).

• The ConnectiCon, which I attended last year, will take place also in July.

• On August 17, I will start a three-class workshop for adults in partnership with the Noah Webster Public Library in West Hartford. I have already held a talk there in the past, and they reached out to me to take on this new project.
