Greetings, friends!
Welcome to the newsletter of my website ReyCD PHOTOS. This is your friend Reynaldo Cruz Díaz, and I am hereby sending you all the first issue of the newsletter. As you will all be able to read and, it includes all the blog posts I made on the website in the months of March and April 2025, in case any of you may have missed it.
I also include some of the latest news and adventures that I may have had through this period, and some other fun facts about my development and growth as a photographer in Connecticut.

• For Mother’s Day, I will be offering a $300 to $700 discount on my portrait and boudoir package. • With Pope Francis’s death on April 21, I decided to send this print of him (the one at the top of this newsletter) to eBay for sale. You can access the store here.

• This 2025, I will hold Full Season Media Credential during the duration of the Minor League Baseball campaign for the Hartford Yard Goats. It is a pride and a privilege to be part of the team and the family. Apart from attending the season opener last April 4 (photos and text here), I will be participating in other events, mainly the Chivos nights, in which they honor Hispanic communities in Connecticut, and the Negro League tribute, honoring the legacy of Johnny “Schoolboy” Taylor.

• This past April 3, I had the opportunity of attending the dress rehearsal of a musical that was held at the school where I work, St. Paul Catholic High School. It was a privilege not only to see some of my students excel on stage, but also to see some of my photos printed on display and later posted on two of the school’s Instagram accounts. It feels like a way to give back to the place that gave me a chance.

• After attending the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, several of my photographs ended up in SIPA USA, a news wiring service. I will continue to contribute to it, the same way I contribute to iStock by Getty Images.

• In February, my work was published in a special edition on DOCU Magazine, a Finnish documentary photography print that highlights the work of photographers worldwide. There is a chance for you all to acquire the issue for 15 Euros by visiting this link. The issue includes some of the photos I took during the last seven years I lived in Cuba.
